Wrapping up Kendall Auto Washington’s 12 Days of Caring

In December, Kendall Auto Washington celebrated its annual 12 Days of Caring which featured a variety of activities and events that celebrated our community, customers, and co-workers.

We want to thank all our community partners, staff, and customers for helping to make this past holiday season so special. We are truly grateful for all the generosity we have seen and are thankful to our amazing team and community.

Below you will find a recap of all our activities and events. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!

The gift of giving to those in our community:

• Marysville Community Food Bank Food and Toy Drive: We were happy to partner with the Marysville Community Food Bank once again to collect and donate toys for their annual Toy Store, along with food to help this holiday season. We want to thank our staff and customers who donated, we deeply appreciate your support. We hope the toys and the food donations helped make this holiday season a little brighter for those in our community.
• Arlington Boys & Girls Club Giving Tree: Oh, giving tree, oh giving tree! This holiday season we were proud to support the Arlington Boys & Girls Club with Giving Trees at each of our Kendall Auto Washington dealerships. On each Giving Tree there were tags featuring wishes from kids at the Boys & Girls Club. We were happy to fulfill these wishes, and we want to give a big thank you to our staff for purchasing these gifts and for your incredible support!
• Providence General Foundation’s Festival of Trees 2025: Kendall Auto Washington was honored to sponsor Festival of Trees 2025! This cherished tradition offered a delightful blend of festive cheer and philanthropy, all in support of the Children’s Services at Providence Everett. The event featured the following activities:
  • • • Free Community Day & Teddy Bear Celebration: Wednesday, December 3rd: All were welcome to attend the Festival of Trees Free Community Day and Teddy Bear Celebration on Wednesday, December 3rd from 1:00pm-6:00pm. The event was fun for all ages and attendees were able to view the beautifully decorated trees and wreaths while enjoying local entertainment groups, visiting with Santa, and other fun activities. Admission was free, and all proceeds benefitted Providence General Children’s Association.

• • • • Holiday Gala and Live Auction: Friday, December 5th: Kendall Auto Washington was proud to sponsor Providence General Foundation’s Festival of Trees Holiday Gala and Live Auction. The night featured exquisitely designed trees and wreaths, unique experiences, dinner, a live auction, and more, all in support of the Children’s Services at Providence Everett.

Kendall Auto Washington has been proud to sponsor the Providence General Foundation’s Festival of Trees since 2022.

• Holiday Stockings for Kids at Providence Hospital: Kendall Auto Washington was proud to partner with Providence Regional Medical Center Everett once again to provide kids at the hospital with Kendall Cares stockings. Each stocking was filled penguin stuffed animals from Slumberkins, along with reusable holiday themed sticker kits, providing them with a fun activity to do. We’re honored to partner with Providence once again and hope these gifts helped provide some comfort and joy this holiday season.

Spreading holiday cheer in the community:

• Merrysville Electric Lights Parade: The Kendall Cares truck lit up the night at the Merrysville Electric Lights Parade on Saturday, December 6th. The parade took place in downtown Marysville along State Ave and featured a variety of vehicles all decked out in holiday lights. Thank you to the City of Marysville for putting on such a fun event. It was a night full of cheer, and we had fun celebrating the holidays with those in our community.
• Community Coffee Giveaway: We were happy to treat those in our community with a free cup of coffee to help warm their hands and make their day even brighter! Our Kendall Auto Washington staff, including GM’s and Sales Managers were out in the community at local coffee stands, including Gourmet Latte, GoGo Espresso, and Addicted Espresso and handed out free coffee to customers. Thank you to our local coffee stands for having us and for letting us spread some holiday cheer!
• Pet Photo Contest: We hosted a pet photo contest where one lucky customer got the chance to win a free oil change at one of our dealerships. Congrats to Buffalo for winning the contest and thank you to all the pet owners for entering and sharing your adorable pets with us!

Holiday festivities with our Kendall Auto Washington Staff:

• Ugly Sweater Contest: Our employees sleighed the ugly sweater contest this year and unleashed their creativity with the funniest and most festive holiday sweaters. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this such a fun celebration!
• Free ice skating at Tulalip Lights & Ice: Under twinkling lights, we gather near, lacing up our skates, full of holiday cheer! Our Kendall Auto Washington team was able to come together for a night out at Tulalip Lights & Ice! Staff were able to bring friends and family out to ice skate and explore Tulalip’s light display featuring over 9.7 million lights. They also had the opportunity to visit the local vendors. Our staff enjoyed the night out and thank you to everyone who attended the event.
• Staff Toolbox Decorating Challenge: Our employees really know how to brighten up a workplace! This year our techs had the chance to participate in our Toolbox Decorating Challenge! From perfectly wrapped toolboxes, to those who brought in our favorite holiday characters like Snoopy and the Grinch, we truly appreciate your creativity this year. Thank you to everyone who participated and for helping make the shop look festive.
• Employee Appreciation Lunches: We want to give a huge shout-out to all our incredible employees for making our spirits brighter each and every day. Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed, and our teams were happy to take the time to sit down together for a meal and to award some fun prizes. Thank you to our staff for everything you do!
